Job Summary

Tanishq Jewellery is looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to manage billing transactions and support a smooth in-store customer experience. The ideal candidate will handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately while maintaining Tanishq’s high standards of trust, transparency, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Accurately process customer transactions including cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, and other digital payments
- Generate invoices and ensure correct billing as per jewellery weight, making charges, taxes, and discounts
- Verify gold/diamond purchase details with sales staff before final billing
- Maintain daily cash balance, sales reports, and end-of-day reconciliation
- Handle returns, exchanges, and advance payments as per company policy
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, audit requirements, and security guidelines
- Assist customers with billing-related queries politely and professionally
- Coordinate with sales, inventory, and accounts teams for smooth operations




- Maintain confidentiality of customer and transaction data

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate
- 1 years of experience as a cashier (retail or jewellery industry preferred) or min 2 years experience in other.
- Basic knowledge of GST, billing software, and POS systems
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and during peak sales periods
- Honest, reliable, and customer-centric approach

Preferred
- Experience in jewellery or luxury retail
- Familiarity with gold, diamond, and gemstone billing processes
- Ability to handle high-value transactions with care and accuracy
