;WELL Labs is anchoring a newly formed Bengaluru Decentralised Water Reuse Coalition, bringing together RWAs, developers, STP operators, regulators, and industry bodies to unlock safe, reliable water reuse from the city s 4,000+ decentralised sewage treatment plants (dSTPs). The Research Associate will provide day-to-day research, coordination, and documentation support across the Coalition.

;This is a hands-on role suited to someone who wants to work at the intersection of field research, stakeholder coordination, and policy-facing documentation in the urban water and sanitation sector.

;Responsibilities ;Research & Documentation

- ;Conduct primary and secondary research on decentralised sanitation and water reuse systems, including stakeholder mapping, interviews, and site visits.
- ;Collect, organise, and analyse field and secondary data on technology performance, costs, and management models.
- ;Track and synthesise relevant regulatory frameworks and standards to inform programme work.
- ;Draft research notes, briefs, and documentation in clear, concise language.

;Stakeholder & Coalition Coordination
- ;Coordinate workshops, working sessions, and meetings with external stakeholders and partner organisations.
- ;Liaise with partners to schedule consultations, follow up on action items, and maintain communication.
- ;Document meeting outcomes, decisions, and milestones for internal and partner reference.

;Programme Support
- ;Support the design and testing of tools, frameworks,



or training materials as needed by the programme.
- ;Assist with stakeholder consultations and pilot activities across different workstreams.
- ;Contribute to knowledge products such as guidance notes, case studies, and training content.

;Required Qualifications & Competencies
- ;Bachelor s or Master s degree in Environmental Engineering/ Urban Planning/ Public Policy/ Environmental Science/ Development Studies, or a related field.
- ;1 3 years of relevant experience in water/sanitation, urban development, environmental research, or a similar sector.

- ;Robust written communication skills in English, with the ability to translate technical or field information into clear, concise documentation.
- ;Experience with primary research: conducting interviews, site visits, and structured data collection.

- ;Working proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
- ;Ability to coordinate with multiple external stakeholders (RWAs, government bodies, industry associations) professionally and independently.
