Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountancy Articles role based in Sector 70 Gurgaon. The Articles trainee will support audit, accounting, and compliance activities, including preparing financial statements, assisting in statutory and tax audits, and maintaining accurate books and records. Daily responsibilities may involve reviewing documentation for IPOs and other capital raising transactions, supporting valuation and financial analysis, and preparing working papers and schedules under supervision.
The role also includes assisting with direct and indirect tax computations, regulatory filings, and coordination with clients and internal teams. The Articles trainee will learn to apply professional standards, maintain documentation, and contribute to timely and accurate deliverables in a merchant banking and advisory environment. Qualifications
Candidate should be registered or eligible to register as a Chartered Accountancy Articles trainee with the relevant professional body.
Strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and basic taxation concepts.
Ability to travel between Gurgaon and Bhiwadi as required and manage deadlines in a structured environment.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with accounting or ERP software is an advantage.
Positive analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and calculations.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members and clients.
