Role Overview The Lead Business Operations -International Markets, will be responsible for driving business growth, operational excellence, and partner success across NIIT's international markets within the West Africa (WAC) and Asia Pacific (APAC) regions.
The role encompasses international business development, channel and licensee management, market expansion, stakeholder engagement, operational governance, and business performance management. The incumbent will work closely with international partners, educational institutions, corporate organizations, and internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives and strengthen NIIT's presence across assigned territories. Key Responsibilities
International Business Development & Growth
Drive business growth and revenue generation across assigned international markets.
Identify and develop new business opportunities through strategic partnerships, educational institutions, corporates, and government initiatives.
Lead market expansion initiatives and support entry into recent territories.
Develop and execute country-specific growth strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
Business Operations & Partner Management
Lead and manage a diversified portfolio of international licensees and business partners across WAC and APAC.
Ensure achievement of business targets, operational efficiency, and partner profitability.
Conduct periodic business reviews and provide strategic guidance to partners.
Support partners in business planning, sales development, marketing initiatives, and operational execution.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain relationships with university leadership, government bodies, regulatory authorities, and industry stakeholders.
Represent NIIT in international business meetings, conferences, seminars,
and strategic forums.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of business objectives and partner support.
Governance & Performance Management
Ensure compliance with contractual commitments, operational standards, and organizational policies.
Monitor business performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions where required.
Drive business reviews, forecasting, and performance tracking across assigned markets.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, regulatory developments, and emerging opportunities.
Provide strategic inputs for product offerings, partnership models, and business expansion initiatives.
Support leadership with market insights and business recommendations.

Profile
Education
Master's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Finance, International Business, or related discipline.
Experience
15+ years of experience in International Business Development, Business Operations, Channel Management, Franchise Management, or Partner Ecosystem Management.
Experience in Education, Learning Solutions, Training, Skilling, or EdTech sectors preferred.
Proven experience managing international business operations across multiple countries and cultures.
