Role & responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for BI solutions.
- Validate ETL processes, data models, and reporting layers.
- Perform SQL queries to verify data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Test Tableau dashboards for functionality, performance, and visualization accuracy.
- Write functional specifications for implemented reports.
- Analyze and understand large volumes of data (millions/tens of millions of records) and identify correlations.
- Provide support to business users in using Tableau reports.
- Document defects, track resolutions, and communicate findings clearly.
- Collaborate with BI developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and quality standards.
