Role Overview The Analytics & Insights Specialist will act as the bridge between the Power BI reporting team and management decision‑making. This role is responsible for interpreting data, identifying trends, generating insights, and recommending actionable strategies that support business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities 1. Data Interpretation — Analyse Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets to extract meaningful insights.

Insights — Translate raw data into explicit business recommendations for management.

Analysis — Identify patterns, anomalies, and emerging trends across business functions.

Decision

Support — Prepare insight-driven presentations to guide leadership decisions.

Performance

Monitoring — Track KPIs and highlight areas requiring attention or improvement.

- Cross-functional Collaboration — Work closely with the Power BI team, operations, finance, and management.

Root Cause

Analysis — Investigate underlying reasons for performance deviations.





- Forecasting & Modelling — Use historical data to project future performance and risks.

Documentation — Maintain structured reports, summaries, and dashboards for leadership.

Recommendations — Suggest actionable steps based on data findings.

Required Skills & Competencies 1. Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting Power BI dashboards
- Good understanding of business KPIs and operational metrics
- Ability to convert data into clear narratives and recommendations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of Excel, SQL, or other analytical tools (added advantage)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Qualifications 1. Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Finance, or related field
- 7 to 10 years of experience in data analysis, business insights, or reporting
