Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Lead with strong expertise in IBM Cognos Analytics, Power BI, and enterprise reporting solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and developing BI reports, dashboards, data models, and reporting frameworks while ensuring data accuracy, validation, and seamless integration across enterprise systems. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable reporting and analytics solutions.

Mandatory

Skills

10–12 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Reporting

Strong hands-on expertise in IBM Cognos Analytics, including Reports, Dashboards, Framework Manager, and Data Modules

Hands-on experience with Power BI

Strong proficiency in SQL and advanced data querying techniques

Experience in designing and developing enterprise BI solutions, reports, and dashboards

Solid experience in data analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis

Good understanding of ETL concepts, data integration, and data flows

Strong knowledge of Data Modelling and database design principles

Experience writing data validation scripts and performing data reconciliation

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mandatory)



Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on enterprise-scale BI and analytics projects

Exposure to modern data warehousing solutions

Knowledge of performance optimization for BI reports and dashboards

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Experience collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams

Exposure to cloud-based BI and analytics platforms is an added advantage Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise BI solutions, reports, and dashboards using IBM Cognos Analytics and Power BI

Analyze complex datasets and troubleshoot reporting and data-related issues

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver effective BI solutions

Validate data accuracy through reconciliation, validation scripts, and quality checks

Support ETL processes, data integration, and reporting enhancement initiatives

Develop and maintain robust data models to support enterprise reporting

Ensure data consistency, reporting accuracy, and optimal report performance

Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve data quality issues and implement continuous improvements
