About the Role

Softhunters Technology Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dynamic and target-driven Business Development Executive (BDE) to generate new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth for our IT services. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills with experience in selling software development and digital marketing services.

Business development roles in IT commonly focus on identifying prospects, qualifying leads, building relationships, and converting opportunities into long-term clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and generate new business opportunities through LinkedIn, Upwork, Freelancer, cold calling, email campaigns, and other lead generation platforms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international clients.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable IT solutions.
- Conduct online meetings, presentations, and product/service demonstrations.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and project estimations in coordination with the technical team.
- Negotiate pricing and close business deals.
- Follow up with prospects and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions, and sales activities in CRM.
- Coordinate with project managers and development teams to ensure smooth project handover.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.

Required Skills





- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid negotiation and convincing abilities.
- Experience in IT service sales, software sales, or digital marketing sales.
- Knowledge of lead generation tools and CRM software.
- Ability to prepare business proposals and presentations.
- Good understanding of website development, mobile app development, AI solutions, and digital marketing services.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Strong relationship-building and client management skills.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Applications, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Business Development or IT Sales.
- Experience with international client handling will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Upwork, Freelancer, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or Salesforce.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience in proposal writing and project estimation.

Salary ₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month (Depending on experience and skills) + Attractive Performance Incentives.
