Responsibilities

Business Development

- Identify upcoming tenders from Railway, Metro, High-Speed Rail, Government, and Private clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, EPC contractors, and government agencies.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and recent business opportunities.
- Coordinate pre-bid meetings and client interactions.
- Prepare business presentations, capability statements, and company profiles.
- Support strategic planning and business growth initiatives.

Costing & Estimation

- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for:

- Ballastless Track (BLT)
- Rail track works.
- Civil and track-related infrastructure.
- Materials, labour, machinery, subcontractors, logistics, and overheads.
- Conduct rate analysis and productivity assessments.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors.




- Prepare cost sheets, bid summaries, and pricing recommendations.
- Ensure estimates align with target margins and company profitability.

Tendering & Commercial

- Prepare technical and commercial bid documents.
- Evaluate contractual risks and commercial deviations.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Finance, and Project teams during bid preparation.
- Support contract negotiations and bid clarifications.

Documentation & MIS

- Maintain tender databases, costing records, and historical project costs.
- Generate MIS reports on tenders, bid status, order pipeline, and business forecasts.
- Maintain accurate records of quotations, client correspondence, and bid documentation.
