Role Overview

We are looking for a

Business Analyst with experience in financial statement spreading and financial analysis to support portfolio management activities. The ideal candidate will analyze financial statements, perform financial spreading using industry-standard templates and tools, maintain high data accuracy, and collaborate with investment and operations teams across global locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and interpret Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Cash Flow Statements, and financial disclosures.

- Perform financial statement spreading using sector-specific templates and financial spreading platforms.

- Create and maintain company records and financial data in enterprise systems.

- Validate financial information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.

- Conduct ratio analysis and identify key financial trends and business risks.

- Interpret audit reports and identify financial red flags or qualified audit opinions.

- Collaborate with Investment Officers, Operations teams, and stakeholders to resolve financial data queries.

- Document best practices, financial assumptions, and process improvements.

- Work in rotational shifts to support global business operations.

- Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned financial analysis tasks.

Required Skills

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance,



Commerce, or Business Administration.

- 2+ years of experience in financial statement analysis and financial spreading.

- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, financial ratios, and covenant analysis.

- Knowledge of IFRS, India GAAP, and working knowledge of US GAAP.

- Ability to interpret audit opinions and identify financial risks.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Sheets.

- Experience using financial spreading tools such as Moody's CreditLens, Moody's FACT, Actico, Baker Hill, CRISIL, or similar platforms.

- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills

- IFRS Certification or relevant accounting certifications.

- Knowledge of Banking, NBFC, Insurance, Leasing, Corporate Lending, or Investment Funds.

- Proficiency in additional languages such as French, Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic, or Chinese.

- Experience working with global teams and international financial reporting standards.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
