Responsibilities

- Planning, coordinating and managing all phases of construction projects, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closeout.

- Establishing project objectives, scope and deliverables in collaboration with all stakeholders (EHS / Maintenance / User etc. ) and ensuring alignment with user requirements.

- Developing and managing project schedules, budgets and resource allocations to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.

- Liaising with architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors to monitor construction progress, resolve issues and ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.

- Managing procurement processes, including bid development and evaluations, contract deliverables and vendor selection.

- Oversee project budgeting and cost control and manage change orders to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

- Conducting regular site inspections to assess project progress, identify risks, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

- Maintain effective communication with project team members and stakeholders to provide project updates, address concerns and foster solid working relationships.

- Manage construction project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings and change orders

- Performing due diligence on the impact and feasibility of new construction sites.

- Maintain the department budget and optimize the capital & operation Budget.





- Co-ordinate with other shop functions for all Civil related maintenance works.

- Statutory and liaising with government for legal approvals for new/existing facility, coordination and record keeping for all legal compliances required.

- Performing cost estimations and preparing project opex & capex budgets.

- Inspecting works for compliance with industry codes, specifications, and safety standards.

- Documenting processes and presenting project progress updates to managers

- Preparing detailed scope of work, detailed estimates, raising the purchase requisitions etc.

- Knowledge on IMS / IATF / ISO system and its compliances

EHS

- Implementation of internal systems, procedures & processes, safety procedures, contractor safety procedures and standard specifications, as applicable to the area of work.

- Knowledge of env mgmt. like- handling and storage of chemicals, safe uses, disposal methods, regular compliance, govt body norms etc.

- Closure of daily safety concerns reported by safety dept or production dept. Adherence of EHS Safety, HMCC & Contractor Safety Guidelines. Monitoring of Height and Hot work permit related Activities.

- Carrying out SOT and layered audit and close all unsafe observe point in define timeline.

Competencies & cultural requirements

- Knowledge of Project/Maintenance/Contract Management

- Structural Engineering knowhow.

- Proficiency in using Building Information Modelling (BIM) software.

- Familiarity with lean construction principles and methodologies.

- Strong financial understanding and experience in project budgeting and cost control.

- Knowledge on Industrial Safety requirements.

- Basic computer skills like MS office, MS project and Auto CAD.

- Team player and good communication skill

- Knowledge about applicable legal compliance related to civil and facility.
