We're Kairos Club — an early-stage consumer startup building a better way for people in India to discover small, independent brands worth knowing about.
There are thousands of genuinely excellent Indian brands making genuinely excellent things, and almost no valuable way to find them. Instagram is a slot machine. Marketplaces optimise for price. We're building the thing that sits in between — with real editorial judgment behind it.
We're two founders, pre-launch, going live later this year. You'd be our first design hire.
What you'll work on
1. Identity. We have a working logo and a rough direction. You'll pressure-test it, push it further, and build it into a proper system — type, colour, marks.
2. Design language. Define how everything feels. Layout, typography, spacing, tone.
3. Product pages.
Design the pages where brands and their products live. This is the heart of the product and where most of your time will go. It has to look considered enough that a brand is proud to be featured on it.
4. Partner-facing collateral. The decks and one-pagers we send to brands we want to work with. These need to make a small brand want to say yes.
Who we're looking for A strong visual eye, especially typography and layout — we care about this more than anything else. A portfolio; course projects and personal work are completely fine. Comfortable in Figma. Able to work from a loose brief, because at this stage nobody will hand you a spec.
