Position: Branch Head – North East

Location: North East India

CTC: ₹15 – ₹20 LPA

Industry: Building Materials (Plywood experience preferred)

Saburi Ply is looking for a highly experienced and result-oriented Branch Head – North East to lead and manage its business operations across the North Eastern region. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the Building Materials industry, with a proven ability to drive sales, build high-performing teams, strengthen channel networks, and ensure profitable business growth. Candidates with prior experience in the Plywood industry will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the overall business operations and sales performance across the North East region.

Develop and execute regional business strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.

Build, manage, and strengthen the dealer, distributor, and retailer network across all North Eastern states.

Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of Regional Managers, Area Sales Managers, Sales Officers, and Sales Executives.

Identify new business opportunities, appoint channel partners, and expand market coverage.

Develop strong relationships with key dealers, architects, builders, contractors, institutional customers, and influencers.

Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and customer requirements.

Drive effective collection management and maintain healthy receivables.

Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain,



and Head Office to ensure seamless business operations.

Prepare regional business plans, sales forecasts, budgets, MIS reports, and performance reviews.

Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain high standards of customer service.

Requirements Eligibility Criteria

Experience: 12–18 years in the Building Materials industry.

Experience in the Plywood industry will be an added advantage.

Proven experience in leading regional or branch-level sales operations.

Solid network of dealers and distributors across the North East region.

Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and motivate high-performing sales teams.

Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and sales reporting tools.

Willingness to travel extensively across the North East region.
