About the Role

Autronyx is seeking an experienced Building Management System (BMS) Project Manager / Lead Engineer with a proven track record in delivering mission-critical BMS projects, particularly for Data Centres, Commercial Buildings, and Industrial Facilities. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in designing, implementing, commissioning, and managing end-to-end BMS solutions, including Max Cool systems for data centre cooling optimization.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead complete BMS project execution from engineering to commissioning and handover.
- Design, review, and approve BMS architecture, control philosophies, I/O lists, network architecture, and graphics.
- Manage multiple BMS projects while ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and schedule.
- Implement and commission Max Cool systems for data centre cooling optimization.
- Integrate BMS with HVAC, Electrical, Fire Alarm, UPS, DG, Chillers, Precision Air Conditioning (PAC), CRAC/CRAH units, and DCIM platforms.
- Coordinate with customers, consultants, OEMs, contractors, and commissioning teams.
- Prepare technical documentation including functional design specifications, FAT, SAT, commissioning protocols, and O&M; manuals.
- Lead site teams during installation, testing, commissioning, and performance validation.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and customer support throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Technical Skills

- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Building Management Systems.




- Proven experience in executing Data Centre BMS projects.
- Strong understanding of Max Cool control strategies and energy-efficient cooling systems.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems including Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, CRAH, CRAC, Precision AC, Cooling Towers, Pumps, and Heat Exchangers.
- Experience with field devices such as:
- Temperature, Humidity, Differential Pressure, Pressure, Flow and CO Sensors
- Water Leak Detection Systems
- Smoke Detection and Fire Integration
- Energy and Power Meters
- Actuators, Valves, Dampers and VFDs
- Expertise in BMS communication protocols:
- BACnet IP/MS-TP
- Modbus RTU/TCP
- SNMP
- OPC
- MQTT (preferred)
- Experience with PLC/DDC controllers and BMS software platforms from Schneider Electric, Siemens, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Delta Controls, ABB, or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of industrial Ethernet and network architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering.
- Certification in BMS, HVAC Controls, or Data Centre Infrastructure is an added advantage.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is desirable.
