Position: Construction Billing Executive / Cost Consultant

Experience: 3–6 years in construction billing or quantity surveying

Location: Hybrid / On-site / WFH / Pune & Mumbai Region

Job Type: Part-Time/ Freelancer

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Contract:

- Perform detailed quantity surveying from tender drawings.
- Estimate quantities to prepare the Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
- Conduct rate analysis for materials, labor, and machinery.
- Assist in evaluating contractor tenders and quotation comparisons.
- Identify potential risks or ambiguities in commercial contract clauses.

Post-Contract:

- Conduct joint measurements on site with the client team.
- Prepare, submit, and track Running Account (RA) bills.
- Handle material reconciliation against actual consumption and theoretical limits.




- Formulate deviation and variation orders for changes in project scope.
- Draft pre-final bills for review and internal audit.
- Prepare final bills and close out final account statements.

Required Skills

- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Expert knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Cost-X software is a strong advantage.
- Solid skills in quantity surveying and rate analysis.
- Deep understanding of project specifications and contract terms.
- Effective communication skills for client and subcontractor coordination
