About The Role The Senior Administrator role at Tech Data is a vital position responsible for the installation, upgrade, and migration of various enterprise applications and databases, including SAP, Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, TM1, and other modern technologies. The incumbent will oversee the scheduling of maintenance activities across multiple systems, manage overlapping tasks efficiently, and communicate any changes or updates to relevant stakeholders. This role involves designing and maintaining server infrastructure, ensuring balanced workload distribution, and troubleshooting software logistics to optimize system performance.

The Senior

Administrator will review performance and audit reports regularly to maintain system health, proactively monitor system alerts, and address any issues before they impact operations. The position requires a deep understanding of technical infrastructures, including transport and printer administration, job scheduling, and SAP operational needs, with a focus on delivering seamless support to end-users and business teams.

Qualifications 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in system administration, enterprise application management, or related fields.

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline; other fields of study with relevant certifications are also acceptable.





Certifications such as SAP Certified Technology Associate on HANA, SAP Certified Technology Specialist - SAP S/4HANA Conversion and SAP System Upgrade, SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration, SAP Certified Technology Associate - OS/DB Migration for SAP, Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect, or Tableau Server Certified Professional are highly desirable.

Proficiency in executing technical instructions, using ticketing tools, and managing complex workflows.

Strong data entry, mathematical, and analytical skills with high attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to create presentations and interact effectively with all management levels.

Leadership qualities, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently under pressure.

Solid interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and a collaborative mindset.

Ability to learn new systems rapidly and adapt to changing technological environments.

Responsibilities Install, upgrade, and configure SAP and BI platform software and databases, ensuring smooth deployment and minimal downtime.

Migrate SAP and BI platform software, databases, and perform advanced administrative tasks to optimize system performance.

Provide technical support to end-users, application teams, and business units, addressing issues promptly and effectively.

Create and maintain server infrastructure, utilizing ticketing and monitoring tools to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Regularly review system performance and audit reports to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.





Conduct periodic maintenance activities to ensure system health and stability, including routine checks and updates.

Implement proactive system monitoring through alert setup and management, capturing issues before they escalate.

Troubleshoot complex SAP and BI platform system issues, providing timely resolutions to maintain operational continuity.

Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps, updating documentation regularly for knowledge sharing.
