Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Backend Services Engineer with strong expertise in Python and AWS cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing scalable backend services, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications using Docker, Terraform, AWS Lambda, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, reusable, and high-performance backend services using Python.
- Develop REST APIs and support serverless microservices architecture on AWS.
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Terraform, AWS Lambda, and Fargate.




- Create reusable Terraform modules and CI/CD pipeline patterns.
- Monitor applications and system health using CloudWatch, Splunk, or DataDog.
- Perform deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and deliver cloud-native solutions.
- Support automated testing, monitoring, and continuous delivery practices.

Required Experience
- 10+ years of strong hands-on Python development experience
- Hands-on AWS experience (Lambda, API Gateway, Serverless)
- Robust Terraform or CloudFormation knowledge (Terraform preferred)
- GitLab CI/CD experience preferred
- Strong understanding of HTTP protocols and web servers
- Monitoring and alerting experience (CloudWatch, Splunk, DataDog)
- Experience in RESTful APIs and Microservices using Python
