Position: Backend Developer (MERN Stack)

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer with 3+ years of experience in developing scalable web applications using the MERN stack. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in Node.js and MongoDB, along with hands-on experience on at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform). The candidate should be passionate about writing clean, efficient code and building high-performance backend services.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and Express.js.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Build secure, high-performance server-side applications.
- Work with MongoDB for database design, optimisation, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with frontend developers working on React.js applications.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Implement authentication, authorisation, and security best practices.
- Optimise application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in backend development.




- Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js (Mandatory).
- Experience with the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB and database optimisation.
- Experience in designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform:
- AWS
- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Good understanding of Git and version control.
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Microservices architecture is preferred.
- Understanding of authentication mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth.
- Knowledge of Redis, Kafka/RabbitMQ, or caching mechanisms is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have
- Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration.
- Exposure to GraphQL.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.

Employment Type Full-Time

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
