About the Role We are looking for a hands-on Software Development Engineer II (SDE II) with 4–8 years of experience to design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs. You will own features end-to-end — from design and development through deployment and production support — and drive them to completion with minimal supervision.

Required Technical

Skills - 4–8 years of experience in software development, working in Agile environments.

- Node.js (80%) — strong hands-on backend experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Golang (20%)
- Strong fundamentals — data structures, algorithms, OOP, and asynchronous programming
- Good understanding of system design
- Cloud — working experience with at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP (Required)
- Git (Required), Docker (Required), Kubernetes (Optional, but preferred)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Linux commands, and basic shell scripting Positive to Have - SQL and/or NoSQL databases




- Messaging queues (NATS/Kafka) or event-driven systems
- Distributed systems or microservices experience
- Prior experience building configurable systems or integrations Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, production-quality code.
- Participate in design reviews — evaluate trade-offs, flag weak designs, and propose better alternatives.
- Own features end-to-end and drive them to completion with minimum nudges.
- Containerize services using Docker; deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot on cloud platforms.
- Lead code reviews, debug complex production issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with product, QA/SDET, and DevOps teams.
