Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for ceded reinsurance systems.
- Work with underwriting, claims, finance, actuarial, accounting, operations, and IT teams to translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Support ceded reinsurance processes including treaty and facultative reinsurance, premium cession, claims recoveries, commissions, settlements, bordereaux, accounting, and reporting.
- Define business rules for quota share, surplus, excess of loss, catastrophe, retentions, limits, layers, reinstatements, and reinsurer participation.
- Support London Market requirements and workflows, including market standard processes, bordereaux handling, statements, and operational controls.




- Prepare source-to-target mappings and support integrations across policy, claims, billing, finance, general ledger, and reporting systems.
- Support data migration activities, including migration requirements, mapping, profiling, validation, and business sign-off.
- Perform and coordinate reconciliation of migrated data between legacy and target systems to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Support SIT, UAT, defect triage, production validation, and post-go-live issue resolution.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end support, including reinsurance accounting and reconciliation activities.
