5+ years hands-on AWS migration experience — not cloud native greenfield build
Comfortable with AWS MGN, Application Migration Service, or equivalent migration tooling
Experience migrating VMware and/or Hyper-V based workloads into AWS
Has handled legacy OS retirement as part of a migration (e.g.
Windows
Server 2008/2012 to a current, patch-managed image) — this is a real filter, not a formality
Solid Linux/Windows server administration background
Fluent spoken English, able to join live client calls
