Role Description

Location: Remote

Contract Duration: 6 Months+ Extendable

Shift Time: 4PM to 2AM

Hands-on execution of migration waves — assessment, replatforming/rehosting, cutover.

Mandatory certification — do not submit without this:

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (minimum bar for this role)

Must have (experience)

- 5+ years hands-on AWS migration experience — not cloud native greenfield build
- Comfortable with AWS MGN, Application Migration Service, or equivalent migration tooling
- Experience migrating VMware and/or Hyper-V based workloads into AWS
- Has handled legacy OS retirement as part of a migration (e.g. Windows Server 2008/2012 to a current, patch-managed image) — this is a real filter, not a formality
- Solid Linux/Windows server administration background
- Fluent spoken English, able to join live client calls
- Available to work US hours (rotational or fixed, to be confirmed)

Nice to have:

- Scripting/automation experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Prior experience in regulated or high-availability environments
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator (additional certification, strengthens the profile but not mandatory)
