About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman with 3-5 years of hands-on experience to join our team in Chembur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings,

plans, and layouts based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or project managers.

Key Responsibilities

*Prepare, modify, and update 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD as per project requirements

*Convert rough sketches, concept designs, or verbal instructions into detailed technical drawings

*Prepare working drawings, GA (General Arrangement) drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings

*Coordinate with engineers, architects, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy

Maintain drawing registers and ensure proper version control/documentation

Make necessary revisions to drawings based on feedback from seniors/clients

*Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and project specifications

*Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) or material take-offs from drawings, if required

Visit site occasionally for measurements/verification (if applicable to role)





Maintain proper filing/archiving of drawings (digital and physical)

Required Skills & Qualifications

*Diploma/ITI in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering (or related field)

*3-5 years of relevant experience as an AutoCAD draftsman

*Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and/or 3D as per role requirement)

*Knowledge of additional software is a plus (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks, SketchUp)

*Strong understanding of drawing standards, dimensions, tolerances, and symbols

Good understanding of engineering/architectural/interior design principles

Attention to detail and accuracy

*Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple drawings/projects simultaneously

*Good communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams

Preferred (Optional)

*Experience in relevant industry (construction, interior design, manufacturing, MEP, structural)

*Familiarity with local municipal/BMC drawing submission norms (if civil/architectural role)
