Mandatory Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5-6 years of hands-on experience in Atlassian products, specifically:
- Jira Cloud (mandatory)
- Confluence
- Experience should be dedicated to Atlassian tools, not just overall IT experience.
- Candidates with 6-8 years of total experience are acceptable, provided they have at least 5 years of Atlassian experience.
- Experience with Jira Cloud is required; Jira Data Center/Server experience alone is not sufficient.
Role Expectations
- This is not a BAU/operational support role.
- Candidate should function as a Jira Product Lead/Owner with experience in:
- Solution design and architecture
- Driving platform enhancements and standardization
Technical Requirements
- Strong experience in:
- Jira and Confluence administration
- Integrations with third-party applications (e.g., Snowflake, Linux-based systems, other enterprise tools)
- Migration projects
- Designing and delivering capabilities not available out of the box in Jira
- Ability to independently propose and implement solutions.
- Hands-on technical capability along with functional stakeholder management skills.
Development & Automation
- Scripting knowledge is required:
- Python
- Shell scripting
- Any relevant scripting language
- Experience developing custom solutions and automations is preferred.
- DevOps experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- AI development experience is not required.
Stakeholder Management
- Ability to:
- Manage stakeholders independently.
- Challenge and guide business requirements.
- Recommend standard Jira solutions instead of unnecessary customizations.
- Lead discussions regarding integrations, migrations, and platform improvements.
