Job Summary The Web Development Manager will be responsible for managing the complete web development lifecycle from project planning and resource allocation to development, deployment, and post-launch support. This role requires a highly motivated leader who can mentor developers, oversee multiple client projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure exceptional technical quality while meeting business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & People Management

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of web developers to ensure high performance and continuous learning.
- Allocate projects and monitor workload to maximize team productivity.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards across projects.
- Coach junior and mid-level developers through regular feedback and technical guidance.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and skill development initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative and innovation-driven team culture.

Project & Delivery Management

- Own end-to-end delivery of multiple web development projects.
- Plan project timelines, sprint activities, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, SEO, UI/UX Designers, Content, and Client Servicing teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.




- Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage client expectations and provide technical consultation whenever required.

Technical Responsibilities

- Oversee development of custom websites and web applications using PHP, Laravel, and WordPress.
- Guide frontend development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React.js, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, AJAX, and jQuery.
- Ensure scalable architecture, clean coding practices, and reusable components.
- Review and optimize database structures using MySQL.
- Supervise REST API development and third-party integrations.
- Ensure website security, performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, and technical SEO implementation.
- Manage Git repositories, deployment processes, version control, and release management.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.

Quality & Process Improvement

- Define and implement development best practices, coding standards, and documentation processes.
- Establish QA procedures before deployment.
- Improve development workflows and introduce automation wherever possible.
- Keep the team updated with the latest technologies, frameworks, AI tools, and industry trends.
- Continuously improve development efficiency and delivery quality.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- years of hands-on experience in Web Development.
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading and managing development teams.
- Proven experience handling multiple client projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience working with Digital Marketing Agencies will be highly preferred.
