Role & responsibilities

1. Operations Management

- Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment to meet customer expectations.
- Optimize warehouse layout and material handling processes for maximum efficiency.
- Implement lean practices to reduce waste and improve productivity.

2. Inventory Control

- Maintain accurate stock records and conduct periodic cycle counts and audits.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams for replenishment planning.
- Use ERP/WMS systems to track inventory movements and generate reports.

3. Process Improvement & Reporting

- Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions for operational efficiency.
- Develop KPIs for warehouse performance (e.g., order accuracy, turnaround time).
- Prepare periodic reports for senior management on warehouse operations, costs, and productivity.
- Drive digitalization initiatives such as barcode/RFID systems and telematics.

4.Financial & Cost Control

- Prepare and manage warehouse budgets, including manpower, equipment, and utilities.
- Monitor cost per unit handled and implement cost-saving measures.
- Negotiate with vendors for material handling equipment and consumables.




- Provide monthly reports on operational costs, variances, and savings achieved.

5.Dispatches of finished product tankers 6.Supervising of loading and unloading activity.

7.Reconciliation of FG stock and maintain approval as per DOP

8.Overall Control of nonmoving FG and periodic feedback to Management

9.Keep workplace protected and hygienic maintain proper inventory in coordination with Planning and TP Manager

10.Ensure timely disposal of Hazardous and Nonhazardous Waste.

11.Contribution to EMS Safety Kaizen, Near Miss Reporting, EHS Document Review, Audits, Training Programs

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies

- 7 to 10 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and control operational costs.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of SAP /ERP / GRN Preparation
- Operational knowledge of Weigh Bridge
- Awareness on FIFO / 5 S.

Work Experience Minimum 5 TO 8 years in warehouse operation. Handling large no of SKU and direct customer inter face.

Some awareness on Safety , Health, Product Quality , certification like EMS,

TS16949 , OHSAS.
