Role Purpose

Lead the Industrial Relations strategy across AGI Greenpac's manufacturing network and act as the successor to the Head of Industrial Relations. Drive harmonious employee relations, union engagement, statutory compliance, dispute prevention, and long-term IR transformation across multiple manufacturing businesses.

- Glass: 3 Plants

- Plastic Packaging: 3 Plants

- Cans: 1 Plant
- Caps & Closures: 1 Plant
- Workforce: 5,000+ (3,500 contractual, 1,500 on-roll staff/workmen)
- Manage engagement with two recognized unions.

Key Responsibilities Develop and execute enterprise-wide IR strategy across all plants.

Build trusted relationships with unions and workmen while ensuring business continuity.

Lead wage settlements, long-term settlements, collective bargaining and negotiations.

Prevent and resolve disputes, strikes, lockouts and disciplinary matters.

Guide plant HR teams on standing orders, domestic enquiries, misconduct cases and grievance handling.

Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.





Partner with manufacturing leadership to improve productivity through positive IR climate.

Drive contractor compliance, contract labour governance and audits.

Represent the organization before labour authorities and external stakeholders.

Develop succession capability and strengthen IR practices across locations.

Candidate Profile

- 18–25 years of experience with strong Industrial Relations leadership.
- Experience in large unionized continuous process industries such as Glass, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Metals, Cement, FMCG manufacturing, Packaging, Paper, Steel or similar.
- Proven track record of handling multiple plants, collective bargaining, wage negotiations and complex IR issues.
- Robust knowledge of Indian labour laws and industrial relations framework.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Bachelor's degree; MBA/MLW/MSW or Labour Law qualification preferred.
