Key Responsibilities In addition to the activities of Team, Lead has to;
- To plan and priorities QC activities in all departments.
- To ensure identification of product at each stage with respect to inspection status Passed, Failed, under test or On Hold. Suggest suitable action for all non-confirming material and nonconformities observed in process and product.
- Responsible to provide a suitable work setting in Labs.
- To enhance the Technical competence of Lab Technicians .
- To analyze data of QC for trend analysis and identifying areas for improvement.
- To investigate market complaints for corrective actions as well as preventive actions.
- Coordinate with Export and Designing team for test protocols during development & bulk.
- To test & ensure the quality standard of incoming material (fiber, top, dyes, chemicals & packing material).
- To test & ensure the quality standard of in process & finished products (Fiber, tops, suiting & furnishing fabric).
- Conduct various testing adhering to testing plan.
- Managing various testing activities as per priority by proper planning.
- To avoid the W/H delivery of non-confirming material by communication via mail to concern HODs.
- Raising indent of the consumable items & follow up with purchase department for in time procurement.
- Lab equipment maintenance & follow up with Eng.Dept. for rectification.
- Managing calibration from outside accredited lab maintaining their schedule & conducting inhouse calibration in coordination with Instrumentation Engg.
- To assist for documentation work for ISO-9001, 14001, OHSAS.
- Managing inventory of Q.C.Lab.for stationary, Chemicals & consumable items.
- Highlight the issues of non-confirming incoming raw material.
- Provide test report & data to Export/RAL/Inst.sales department as per requirements.
