SECTION III: PURPOSE OF THE ROLE The role holder will be responsible to execute of all type of plumbing and firefighting works for high rise buildings.

SECTION IV: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLE

Execution of all drainage, storm water, water supply, LPG/PNG and firefighting systems for all residential towers, retail and office buildings, as per approved layout drawings within specified timelines and quality specifications.

Perform regular inspection on all equipment and materials and assist in installation & fabrication of same if required.

Manage and perform tests on various materials and equipment s like pipes, pumps, valves and maintain knowledge on all product specifications and ensure adherence to all required standards.

Coordinate with architectural and civil teams for satisfying requirements for all plumbing projects

Evaluate all design drawings, GFC drawings for constructability according to required quality and functional specifications.

Monitor installation and perform tests on various water, gas and sewage lines for all residential and commercial buildings.

Install and commission pumping systems, WTP and STP.

Supervise all plumbing work and provide certification to all contractor bills.

Perform regular inspection of all materials and works for all plumbing activities.





Collaborate with all consultants and contractors for all plumbing related work.

Ensure IGBC green building norms are adhered to for plumbing and water supply works for green building requirements

- Sleeves, cutouts and MEP groove fixing coordination works in Towers

MEP - Internal Work Progress
- Internal Plumbing and Fire Fighting work in all Towers.
- Quantity estimation & bill certification

SECTION VII: KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education Qualification B.E. Mech ., Certification in plumbing, firefighting, LEED certificate

Technical & Qualified Knowledge required

(What someone NEEDS TO KNOW) Should be well versed with plumbing, water supply and treatment and firefighting infrastructure works.

Should be capable of executing and commissioning the works as per specifications and quality norms





Should be conversant with IGBC green building norms and certification requirements for water related works.

Should be able to coordinate with technical and commercial team members and resolve issues.

Experience required

(What someone NEEDS TO HAVE DONE) Should be a graduate mechanical engineer having 10-12 years experience in execution of all type of plumbing and firefighting works for high rise buildings.

Ability to study detail AutoCAD drawings related to plumbing firefighting, water supply, storm water, drainage and LPgas works, point out deviations and instruct contractors and team members for execution of plumbing fire fighting works.

Manage queries from contractors and coordinate with consultants and other team members for speedy implementation of works
