Role Description:

The Associate role is a position based on-site in Delhi, India. The Associate will assist in court hearings, arguments, legal research, drafting pleadings, assisting senior lawyers, etc.

Responsibilities include preparing case briefs, organizing and maintaining case files, and supporting litigation strategy for matters before courts and tribunals. The role involves attending court hearings and client meetings, coordinating with other team members to ensure timely completion of deliverables. The Associate will also help with documentation for arbitration, mediation,



and conciliation matters, contributing to both advisory and contentious work.

Qualifications

- Strong legal research and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret statutes, case law, and regulatory materials.
- Competence in legal drafting and written communication, including preparation of pleadings, contracts, notices, and legal opinions.
- Organizational and case management abilities, such as maintaining files, managing deadlines, and coordinating documentation.
- Effective interpersonal and skilled communication skills for working with colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Enrollment in or completion of a law degree (LL.B or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated interest in civil and commercial litigation, arbitration, mediation, and conciliation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain attention to detail, and handle multiple matters simultaneously.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Hindi and familiarity with court procedures in Delhi is an advantage.
- Experience required: 4 years litigation experience
