We are the embedded finance partner founders use when a full time CFO is too early or too expensive, but the decisions cannot wait. Clients are funded startups across SaaS, EdTech, D2C and Manufacturing.

We own their finance function end-to-end until they are ready for a permanent CFO. Founded by a dynamic and very diversified CA, has 13+ years experience including 6 at EY. We are building the team from the ground up.

The Role The strategic-finance side of Germin8. You will sit next to client founders on financial planning, unit economics, fundraise readiness, investor decks, board reporting and post-funding capital deployment. No monthly closes. You will be building the model the next round will be raised on, prepping board meetings, pressure-testing the hiring plan and helping founders say yes or no to decisions that compound.

What You Will Do Build financial models for clients: unit economics, three-statement, scenarios, cap tables and fundraise plans

Prepare investor decks, data rooms and diligence materials for fundraises (Seed to Series B)

Drive fundraise readiness: pricing the round, mapping investors and prepping the founder

Support live fundraises: investor outreach, term sheet evaluation, diligence response and close coordination

Build board packs and investor updates

Run strategic-finance work inside clients: capital allocation, pricing, growth economics, runway and hiring stress-tests

Conduct market and competitive research for client strategic initiatives

Drive business development: pitch preparation, prospect research,



proposal development and converting inbound interest into engagements

Use AI tools to accelerate research, modelling, deck production and diligence workflows

Build playbooks that scale across engagements Who We Are Looking For CA with 1 to 4 years post-qualification

Background in IB, transaction advisory, Big 4 deals or strategy, VC/PE ecosystem, corporate finance or in-house finance at a funded startup

Strong financial modelling: three-statement, DCF and scenarios. Battle-tested, not academic.

Excellent decks. Can make a founder look credible in front of investors.

Comfortable with founders, board members and VC partners in the room

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint

Active user of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, research and automation platforms) in day-to-day work

Business curiosity. Reads about the companies you work with. Asks why before how.
