About the Role:

We are looking for an entrepreneurial retail leader to drive the growth and expansion of our retail business across India. This role is ideal for someone who has played a key role in setting up or scaling a retail business, launching new stores, and building high performing teams in a fast-paced environment.

The Associate Director Retail will be responsible for developing and executing retail expansion strategies, driving business performance, ensuring operational excellence, and creating an exceptional customer experience while building a scalable retail organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute the retail growth and expansion strategy across India.
- Lead end-to-end store expansion, including market identification, site selection, store launches, and operational readiness.
- Drive sales, profitability, store productivity, and overall business performance.
- Establish and implement scalable retail processes, SOPs, and operating frameworks.
- Lead day-to-day retail operations, ensuring consistency in customer experience and operational excellence.
- Build, mentor, and lead regional and store teams to deliver business objectives.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Supply Chain, HR, Finance, and Merchandising to drive business growth.
- Monitor business KPIs, identify growth opportunities, and implement improvement initiatives.
- Ensure effective inventory management, visual merchandising, compliance, and store standards across the network.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 810 years of experience in retail operations and business leadership. • Proven experience in setting up, launching, or scaling retail businesses or brands in India.
- Solid understanding of retail expansion, store operations, and commercial performance.
- Experience managing multi-store or pan-India retail operations.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team-building skills. • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a high-growth environment.
- Willingness to travel across India as required.

Preferred Industry Background

Candidates from high-growth retail, D2C, consumer, lifestyle, furniture, fashion, electronics, or specialty retail brands with experience in building and expanding retail networks will be preferred.
