- Strong understanding of financial statements and financial ratios
- Good understanding of M&A; concepts and relative valuation techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A commercial outlook and a good understanding of the general business / economic setting and M&A; business
- Working knowledge of MS Office (specifically MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in using research databases such as Capital IQ, Refinitiv, Pitchbook, Factiva, among others
Responsibilities
- Prepare sector-focused newsletters
- Identify potential M&A; clients for business development purpose
- Prepare parts of buy-side / sell-side pitch books, including credentials, investment highlights, industry overview, buyer / target identification and profiling
- Execute parts of valuation analysis using market approach
- Assist in preparing sections of Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), Management Presentations (MPs) and deal admin workstreams
- Perform financial and operational benchmarking
- Prepare parts of conference presentations
Qualifications
CA / CFA / MBA (Specialization in Finance & Investment Management)
