Key Responsibilities

Business Expansion &

- Store Development

- Identify and evaluate new store opportunities across assigned markets.

- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and catchment studies to assess business potential.

- Drive end-to-end retail expansion projects from site identification to store launch.

- Build and maintain relationships with developers, landlords, brokers, and mall management teams.

Commercial Negotiation

- Lead lease and commercial negotiations with property owners and developers.

- Ensure commercial viability of proposed locations through financial and business analysis.

- Work closely with legal and finance teams to finalize agreements and documentation.

Market &

- Business Analysis

- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

- Prepare business cases, feasibility reports, and ROI assessments for new store openings.

- Monitor store performance and recommend actions for business optimization.





Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with Retail Operations, Finance, Projects, Marketing, and Legal teams to ensure seamless execution of expansion plans.

- Coordinate with external partners and vendors for timely project completion.

Reporting &

- Governance

- Track expansion pipeline and provide regular updates on project status.

- Maintain accurate records of site evaluations, negotiations, and store development milestones.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications &

- Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or related field. MBA preferred.

- 48 years of experience in Retail Business Development, Retail Expansion, Real Estate, or Leasing.

- Robust understanding of retail formats, market mapping, and site selection.
