Role Description The Associate role at Birla Opus is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhagalpur. The Associate will support daily store and customer-facing operations, including guiding customers on product and shade selection, answering queries, and ensuring a positive in-store experience.

The role involves coordinating with internal teams for order processing, tracking inventory levels, and maintaining product displays and promotional materials. The Associate will assist in managing documentation, billing,



and basic data entry tasks, while adhering to company policies and safety standards. The position also requires participation in local marketing or outreach activities and providing feedback from customers and the market to help improve services and offerings.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone.
- Candidates should possess basic sales and advisory skills, including understanding customer needs, suggesting suitable products, and supporting upselling and cross-selling where appropriate.
- Candidates should possess organizational and administrative skills, such as handling documentation, billing, record-keeping, and coordination with internal teams.
- Candidates should possess basic numeracy and computer skills, including working with spreadsheets or point-of-sale systems and managing simple data entry tasks.
- Relevant experience in retail, building materials, paints, or home improvement sectors is beneficial.
- A minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or a related field is an advantage.
