Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay, India (Loni Kalbhor, Pune) is currently seeking applicants for Assisstant Manager Quality Position.

What you will be doing:

Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines to monitor process effectiveness. Establish & maintain Product environment quality requirements specified by customers. Product Approvals including Customer Specific Approvals. Follow up & ensure implementation and maintain corrective actions & continual improvements at all levels (Process, supplier, logistic etc.---). Establishing product performance in specified life / climatic tests.

Process Evaluation: Analyze and assess existing processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards. Evaluation of changes in process, product, parts / material system & decide about PCN requirements.

Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to process performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Root Cause Analysis: Conduct investigations into process failures or defects, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. Evaluate corrective action impacts in all forms. Evaluate, investigate customer / logistic complaints and initiate corrective actions and communicate back to the customers.



Timely response to customer problems & initiating corrective action.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities, including customer & process audit corrective actions. Facilitate various internal and external audits regarding systems & product certification by customers, Corporate & Divisional quality auditors and ISO / TS agency. Harmonizing Corporate specifications with integration of ISO/TS requirements in QMS. Preparation and submission of PPAP documents.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and management to promote quality initiatives. Conduct process audits and feedback to production for various discipline related issues having potential to customer complaints.

Training: Provide training and support to staff on quality assurance practices and procedures. Training employees at all levels in Quality systems.

Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that processes comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and internal policies. Submitting the Inspection Reports to the Customers as and when required. Carrying out Dock Audits. Publication of Quality performance indicator reports on Quality Data based on customer complaints, life testing & field failure analysis

Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, Support JIT Concepts & promote Kaizen initiatives.

Leadership: Lead a team of Quality Assurance engineers performing acceptance protocols, calibrations and material acceptance. Establishing final control & inline inspection activity,



analyzing and initiating corrective measures on final control data.

What will you bring along:

- Should have 10+ Yrs of experience in Process quality. Experience working in Automotive Industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of QMS (9001, IATF, IRIS, 14001, 45001). Communication with certifying agencies.
- Knowledge of supplier quality systems. Awareness of Supplier data & performance management.
- Knowledge of Incoming quality, Inspection plans & development of JIT system
- Knowledge of SPC & DOE, Improvement through quality tools like Process capability studies, PFMEA, Control plan, PPAP, APQP & CP.
- Exposure to Calibration, MSA &17025 Requirements.
- Handson Knowledge of VSM & various problem-solving tools preferably Six sigma Black belt OR DFSS,
- VDA 6.3 certified auditor and trained as PSCR is preferred.
- Outgoing inspection
- Reliability testing with knowledge of FIT rate & Risk analysis.
- Exposure to Product release processes.
- Leadership skills and proactive behavior.
- Customer communication, handling customer complaints & address field failures.
