Job Purpose To ensure the implementation and monitoring of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) standards across construction sites by promoting a protected work environment, ensuring statutory compliance, minimizing workplace risks, and driving a strong safety culture for high-rise residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor the Project Safety Management Plan in line with company policies and statutory requirements.

- Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and hazard identification to ensure compliance with EHS standards.

- Ensure adherence to safety procedures during civil, structural, finishing, MEP, faade, and fit-out activities.

- Monitor high-risk work including work at height, lifting operations, excavation, confined space entry, hot work, and electrical activities.

- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, mock drills, and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and subcontractors.

- Investigate incidents, accidents,



and near misses; perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

- Ensure availability and proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) across the project site.

- Maintain all statutory safety records, permits, inspection reports, safety observations, and compliance documentation.

- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, consultants, and government authorities on safety compliance matters.

- Monitor emergency preparedness, firefighting systems, first aid arrangements, and evacuation procedures.

- Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations including the Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Act, National Building Code (NBC), and other relevant statutory requirements.

- Support implementation of ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System (preferred).
