Role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant / Deputy Manager – Treasury to manage the organization's day-to-day treasury operations, including cash flow management, banking operations, payment processing, liquidity planning, and treasury reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient fund management, maintain robust banking relationships, and provide financial insights to support business continuity and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily treasury operations, including cash positioning and liquidity management across multiple bank accounts.
- Monitor daily cash balances and ensure adequate liquidity to support operational and business requirements.
- Optimize cash utilization by minimizing idle balances and improving working capital efficiency.
- Handle day-to-day banking transactions, including fund transfers, receipts, and payment processing.
- Coordinate with banking partners for operational issues, documentation, and relationship management.
- Process vendor payments, payroll funding,



statutory payments, and other business-critical transactions through banking channels such as NEFT, RTGS, and other electronic payment modes.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant execution of all treasury transactions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow forecasts by tracking cash inflows and outflows.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy.
- Monitor short-term investments, fixed deposits, borrowing positions, and interest obligations.
- Support working capital optimization initiatives and monitor treasury-related financial risks.
- Ensure compliance with internal treasury policies, banking regulations, statutory requirements, and audit guidelines.
- Prepare treasury MIS reports, cash flow dashboards, and management reports for leadership review.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounts, Business Finance, Payroll, Procurement, and external banking partners to ensure seamless treasury operations.

Key Requirements

- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in Treasury, Banking Operations, Cash Management, or Finance Operations.
- Experience in treasury operations within a manufacturing organization will be preferred; however, candidates from other industries with strong treasury expertise will also be considered.

- Good understanding of banking products, treasury operations, and fund management.
- Knowledge of short-term investments, borrowings, and treasury controls.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems and Treasury Management Systems will be an added advantage.
