- AM- Supply Chain Management Solar Wind Projects Job Title Assistant Manager- Supply Chain Management Department SCM - Projects Solar Wind Location BKC Project Sites as applicable Reports to Manager - SCM Role Summary The AM - SCM will support the SCM Manager and project teams in finalizing material requirements coordinating with vendors and tracking deliveries for Solar and Wind projects The role requires working closely with Project Site Quality and Procurement teams to ensure timely availability of critical materials including MCR Switchyard and other site-specific equipment This position is execution-focused with robust emphasis on follow-up vendor coordination and resolving supply chain bottlenecks Key Responsibilities 1 Requirement Coordination Support Work with project and site teams to gather and consolidate material requirements for Solar modules inverters MMS cabling and Wind WTGs MCR Switchyard BOP packages Provide inputs to Procurement team for PR PO creation Support site teams in material reconciliation and documentation 2 Vendor Procurement Support Coordinate with vendors for production status inspections and dispatches Follow up on PO deliveries and highlight potential risks or delays Support technical and commercial alignment with Procurement team 3 Logistics Delivery Monitoring Track material movement from vendors to project sites Ensure proper documentation for dispatches and receipts Work with logistics partners to ensure timely transportation of critical equipment 4 Site Cross-Functional Coordination Act as a link between Project Site teams and Procurement for material status Support Quality team for inspections clearances and vendor quality checks Assist site teams in resolving on-ground material-related issues 5 Reporting Governance Maintain SCM trackers and update MIS on PR PO vendor status and delivery schedules Report delays and escalate where required Support initiatives for process improvement and cost optimization Key Requirements Education Bachelor s degree in Engineering Electrical Mechanical preferred Experience 3-6 years in Supply Chain Management within Renewable Energy Solar Wind Exposure to MCR Switchyard Electrical and Civil material procurement Strong knowledge of supply chain processes vendor coordination and logistics Hands-on experience in ERP SAP systems Excellent coordination follow-up and communication skills Willingness to travel to vendor facilities and project sites as required
