Qualification
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics, or equivalent.
Additional certifications in PLC, DCS, Industrial Drives, PCB Repair, or Embedded Electronics will be an added advantage.
Job Purpose To perform advanced diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and reliability improvement of industrial electronic equipment including PLC, DCS, VFDs, Servo Drives, PCBs, MOV cards, Power Electronics, Communication Modules, and Automation Hardware. The role is responsible for ensuring high-quality repairs, reducing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and supporting plant operations through effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Industrial Electronics Repair
Diagnose and repair industrial electronic PCBs to component level.
Repair analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronic cards.
Troubleshoot multilayer PCBs using electronic test equipment.
Identify failed electronic components and replace them with suitable equivalents.
Perform functional testing after repairs.
Maintain repair quality documentation and repair history.

Preferred Experience
Candidates having hands-on experience in repair and troubleshooting of industrial electronic equipment used in steel plants, power plants, cement plants, mining, oil & gas, chemical plants, or other continuous process industries will be preferred.
Exposure to repairing equipment from Siemens, ABB, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Emerson, Yokogawa, Mitsubishi, Omron, GE, Danfoss, Rockwell Automation, and similar industrial automation OEMs will be an added advantage.
Additional Advantage
Ability to perform component-level PCB repair.
Knowledge of BGA, SMD, and multilayer PCB rework.
Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, CAN, DeviceNet, and OPC.
Experience using ERP/SAP systems for maintenance and spare management.
Familiarity with predictive maintenance and reliability engineering practices.
Exposure to ISO quality systems, ESD-safe repair practices, and repair laboratory management.**
