Role Description The Assistant Manager role at GTT Foundation is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune District.

The Assistant

Manager will support planning, coordination, and implementation of skill development and technology-enabled projects, ensuring they are executed on time and within scope. This role involves working closely with internal teams, partners, and community stakeholders, monitoring project progress, preparing reports, and maintaining documentation.

The Assistant

Manager will contribute to program design, track key performance indicators, and help improve processes based on field feedback and data. Day-to-day responsibilities also include team coordination, stakeholder communication, basic budgeting support,



and organizing events, workshops, or training sessions related to the Foundation’s initiatives.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong project coordination and organizational skills, including the ability to manage timelines, resources, and multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Candidates should possess stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with communities, partners, and internal teams and present information clearly.

Candidates should possess basic data analysis and reporting skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and preparation of project documentation and presentations.

Candidates should possess problem-solving and process improvement skills, with a proactive approach to identifying challenges and proposing practical solutions.

Candidates should possess people management and team support skills, including mentoring junior staff or volunteers and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Bachelor’s degree in social work, management, education, development studies, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant certification in project management or development sector is an advantage.

Relevant experience (typically 2–5 years) in NGOs, social impact organizations, skill development, education, or community development projects is preferred.

Comfort working on-site in the Pune District and traveling within the region as needed; fluency in English and local languages is beneficial.
