Role & responsibilities

- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) in SAP and ensure data accuracy.
- Manage asset capitalization, asset creation, and asset commissioning in SAP.
- Process inter-unit asset transfers, asset retirements, disposals, and write-offs.
- Calculate and review depreciation as per the Companies Act and Ind AS.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
- Perform fixed asset reconciliations and support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Assist in statutory and internal audits by preparing fixed asset schedules and supporting documentation.
- Prepare fixed asset MIS reports and management reports.

Preferred candidate profile

- Experience: 5-10 years in Fixed Asset Accounting.
- Qualification: CA Inter/ MBA (Finance) / M.Com / B.Com.
- Hands-on experience in SAP Fixed Assets (FI-AA Module preferred).
- Solid knowledge of the Companies Act, Ind AS, depreciation accounting, and statutory compliance.
- Good analytical, reconciliation, and communication skills.
