Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Finance, Accounts, Payroll & Compliance to manage end-to-end finance operations, payroll, statutory compliance, taxation, financial reporting, and corporate governance activities. The ideal candidate will ensure timely compliance with statutory regulations, maintain accurate financial records, coordinate with auditors and external stakeholders, and support business decision-making through financial analysis and effective internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

1. Finance & Accounting

Manage day-to-day accounting operations and month-end/year-end book closures.

Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, budgets, cash flow statements, and profitability analysis.

Review vendor payments, employee reimbursements, client invoicing, and receivable collections.

Maintain fixed asset registers, financial records, and revenue reports.

2. Payroll & Employee Advantages

Oversee end-to-end payroll processing and HRMS administration.

Manage employee onboarding, salary revisions, Full & Final settlements, gratuity, leave encashment, and bonus calculations.

Ensure compliance with employee benefits, including PF, ESIC, insurance, and statutory deductions.

3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, ROC, and other statutory returns.

Coordinate GST reconciliations, TDS corrections, advance tax, and statutory assessments.

Maintain statutory records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

4. Banking, Treasury & Corporate Coordination





Manage banking operations, treasury, cash flow, investments, and banking documentation.

Coordinate with Company Secretaries on ROC filings, corporate actions, and legal documentation.

Review contracts, SOWs, NDAs, and commercial agreements.

5. Audit & Financial Controls

Coordinate statutory, internal, GST, and other audits.

Strengthen internal financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies.

Support budgeting, forecasting, valuation, and strategic financial planning.

6. Stakeholder Management

Liaise with auditors, Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, banks, government authorities, insurance providers, vendors, and clients.

Support process improvements, compliance initiatives, and business expansion activities.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: MBA (Finance), M.Com, CA (Inter), CMA (Inter), or equivalent qualification.

Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Payroll, Taxation, Statutory Compliance, and Audit.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, ROC compliance, budgeting, financial reporting, and treasury management.

Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Zoho Books, HRone HRMS, Tally Prime, Microsoft Excel (Advanced), and ERP systems.

Core Competencies: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred: Exposure to multiple entities, international operations, and corporate secretarial coordination will be an added advantage.
