Role Description The Assistant / Associate Professor role is a full-time, on-site position based at Jaipur National University in Jaipur. The role includes delivering lectures, conducting tutorials and practical sessions, and guiding students in their academic and research work.

Responsibilities involve designing and updating course materials, assessing student performance, and maintaining high academic standards. The faculty member will engage in research and scholarly activities, contribute to publications, participate in departmental and university committees, and support accreditation and quality assurance processes. The role also requires active mentoring of students,



participation in academic events, and collaboration with colleagues on institutional initiatives.

Qualifications

Advanced academic qualifications, BCA/MCA/ BTECH (CS), M. Tech(CS) typically a PhD or equivalent in the Computer Science discipline; candidates with a strong master’s degree and significant academic or industry experience may be considered for Assistant Professor roles.

Demonstrated teaching ability in higher education, including effective classroom delivery, curriculum development, and student assessment.

Research aptitude evidenced by publications, conference presentations, or ongoing research projects, with willingness to pursue funded research and collaborations.

Strong communication, presentation, and academic writing skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and foster an inclusive classroom environment.

Proficiency in using educational technologies, learning management systems, and digital tools to support teaching, learning, and assessment.

Commitment to academic integrity, student mentoring, and continuous professional development, along with the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Prior experience in university-level teaching or relevant skilled practice is highly beneficial;

experience in curriculum design, accreditation processes, or academic administration is an advantage.
