Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AS400 Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in IBM iSeries/AS400 application development and support. The ideal candidate should possess solid expertise in COBOL, DB2, RPG/RPGLE, and legacy system modernization initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining mission-critical applications while collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications on the IBM AS400/iSeries platform.
- Develop and support programs using COBOL, RPG, RPGLE, CL/CLLE, and DB2.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform impact analysis, code reviews, debugging,



and performance tuning of existing applications.
- Develop and optimize DB2 queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions.
- Participate in system enhancements, upgrades, and modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, design documents, and operational procedures.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices.

Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team
