Role Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead our sales operations in the designated territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving both Primary and Secondary Sales, expanding our channel network (Wholesale, Retail, and Depots), and driving engagement with our userbase (Applicators, Contractors, and Factories).

The ASM will leverage the Rathi Reporting App to track daily visits, manage distributor pipelines, and monitor territory performance through data-driven sales analysis.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Revenue Generation

- Target Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Primary & Secondary Sales: Drive primary sales from company depots to distributors, and ensure consistent secondary sales movement from distributors to retail networks.
- Pipeline Management: Ensure healthy order fulfillment and manage pending orders effectively.

1. Channel Management & Expansion

- Network Expansion: Identify, appoint, and onboard new distributors, dealers, and retail partners in the assigned area.
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners, ensuring their profitability and ROI.
- Inventory & Collections: Monitor distributor inventory levels and ensure timely payment collections and reconciliation.

1. Userbase & Influencer Engagement

- Influencer Outreach: Conduct regular "Userbase Meetings" with key local influencers such as Applicators, Fabricators, and Contractors.
- Brand Promotion:



Drive local brand visibility and coordinate targeted marketing/sales campaigns at the retail and factory level.

1. Reporting & Compliance

- Daily Tracking: Log daily visits, travel plans (Tour Plans), and expenses accurately into the Rathi Reporting App.
- Market Intelligence: Provide regular feedback on market trends, competitor pricing, and local schemes.
- Complaint Resolution: Promptly log and assist in resolving quality and transport complaints from dealers/parties via the system.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Experience: Minimum 4-7 years of proven experience in field sales, preferably in building materials, steel, cement, or the hardware industry.
- Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of the assigned territory's geography, local market dynamics, and existing dealer networks.
- (For Patna: Strong network in central Bihar. For Bhagalpur: Experience in eastern Bihar. For Muzaffarpur/Darbhanga: Robust connections in the Mithilanchal/North Bihar region).
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM and mobile reporting applications for daily logging and sales analysis.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively across the designated area. Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle.
