Profile: Area Manager - Business Growth

Role Summary The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales, expanding market share, and managing channel partners across the assigned territory for the Small Home Appliances category. The role involves achieving sales targets, developing distributor and dealer networks, ensuring excellent market execution, and strengthening brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities-

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Appoint, develop, and manage distributors, dealers, and retail partners.
- Expand market reach by identifying new business opportunities and increasing product penetration.
- Drive primary and secondary sales while ensuring healthy inventory levels.
- Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and pricing.
- Plan and execute promotional activities, product launches, and trade marketing initiatives.
- Ensure product availability and visibility across retail outlets.
- Build solid relationships with distributors,



retailers, and key accounts.
- Resolve channel partner issues related to supply, pricing, and service.
- Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and service teams for seamless operations.
- Prepare sales forecasts, territory reports, and MIS on a regular basis.
- Lead and motivate Sales Officers/Sales Executives within the territory.

Desired Candidate Profile-
- Graduate/MBA preferred.
- 5-8 years of sales experience in Small Home Appliances, Consumer Durables, Electrical Appliances.
- Proven experience in channel sales and distributor management.
- Strong understanding of the retail and distribution ecosystem.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop territory growth plans.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
