Role Description The Architect role at Miraj Entertainment Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The role involves designing and developing architectural concepts for cinema properties and related entertainment infrastructure, ensuring alignment with brand standards, safety regulations, and user experience goals.

Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing design layouts and detailed drawings, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external consultants, and overseeing integration of architectural plans with mechanical, electrical, and civil systems. The Architect will participate in project planning, cost estimation, and scheduling,



and support project execution from concept to completion. The role also requires regular site visits, quality checks, and collaboration with project management teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare architectural concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings for new cinema projects, renovations, and refurbishments.
- Develop space planning based on operational requirements and customer experience.
- Coordinate with Structural, MEP, HVAC, Interior Design, Acoustic, and Fire & Safety consultants.
- Review architectural drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with local building by-laws, fire safety norms, accessibility standards, and statutory regulations.
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, quality standards, and adherence to approved drawings.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project management teams for smooth execution.
- Resolve site-related design issues and provide technical guidance during construction.
- Review material specifications and recommend cost-effective, durable, and aesthetically suitable alternatives.
- Support budgeting, cost estimation, and value engineering initiatives.
- Ensure projects are completed within timelines and approved budgets.
- Maintain project documentation, drawings, approvals, and design revisions.
- Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives for future cinema developments.
