Welding Fabrication Perform Shielded Metal Arc Welding on mild steel components used in purlin production Weld joints brackets cleats stiffeners end plates and other fittings required for purlin assemblies Prepare and set up welding equipment electrodes and materials for daily operations Ensure welds meet required specifications tolerances and structural integrity Interpretation Measurement Read and interpret fabrication drawings welding symbols Measure cut and prepare steel sections as per job requirements Use measuring tools such as steel tape square vernier and gauges to maintain precision Quality Inspection Conduct visual inspection of welds report defects like cracks porosity undercut or misalignment Perform rework or repairs on rejected welds as instructed Maintain consistent welding quality according to company and industry standards Safety Maintenance Follow all safety guidelines for welding material handling and equipment usage Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area Perform routine maintenance of welding machines cables and tools Skills Qualifications Required Proven experience minimum 1 year as an ARC Welder in a metal fabrication or structural steel industry Hands-on experience with ARC welding techniques Ability to read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Knowledge of different electrode types and applications Understanding of metal properties and welding procedures Preferred Experience in purlin manufacturing roll forming or structural steel fabrication Basic knowledge of grinding cutting and material preparation tools Certification in welding ITI Welder AWS similar is an advantage Job Type Permanent Pay 13 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Perks Life insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
