Android Framework Engineer

Job Title: Android Framework Engineer

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Android framework components and system services.
- Develop native layer components using C/C++ (NDK).
- Customize and enhance Android Open Source Project (AOSP) for device-specific requirements.
- Optimize Android framework features for performance, memory, and power efficiency.
- Develop and integrate Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) components and interface with device drivers.
- Debug and resolve issues across application, framework, native, and kernel layers.
- Analyze system logs and debug using tools such as ADB, Logcat, Systrace, and GDB.
- Collaborate with hardware, BSP, kernel, and application teams for feature integration and issue resolution.




- Participate in code reviews and contribute to framework architecture improvements.

Requirements
- 310 years of experience in Android Framework or Embedded Android development.
- Solid programming skills in C and C++.
- Hands-on experience with Android Open Source Project (AOSP) internals.
- Experience working with Android Framework, HAL, Binder IPC, and Android system services.
- Good understanding of Linux internals, kernel concepts, and device drivers.
- Experience with Android build systems such as Soong and Make.
- Proficiency in debugging using ADB, Logcat, GDB, Systrace, and related Android debugging tools.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
